This exhibition showcases work by Ilene Berman, Christine Ilewski and Carlie Trosclair, recipients of 2013’s Creative Stimulus Award. Our $1500 award is presented annually to three St. Louis-based, jury-selected artists to assist them in creating new work and expanding their practices. This show features a variety of media – including painting, textiles, and installation – that represents fundamentally community-driven work, which is deeply engaged with the St. Louis area beyond conventional gallery confines.
