Stimulated: An Exhibition of Work by Creative Stimulus Award Winners Begins March 21 at the Kranzberg

Stimulated: An Exhibition of work by Creative Stimulus Award winners

Since 2008 Critical Mass for the Visual Arts has provided local artists with funding and an opportunity to show their work in a group exhibition through the Creative Stimulus Award Program. During that time period over 20 local artists have received the Creative Stimulus Award, with many of them going on to receive other prestigious local and national grants, residencies, and exhibition opportunities.

Stimulated is an exhibition of artworks donated by Creative Stimulus Award winning artists including: Gina Alvarez, Ilene Berman, Tate Foley, Cameron Fuller, Christine Ilewski, David Johnson, Asma Kazmi, Angela Malchionno, Sarah Paulsen, Lyndsey Scott, B.j. Vogt, and Mel Watkin. The artworks in this exhibition will be on view from March 21st through April 26th, and will be sold during a silent auction on the evening of March 28th at the HomeGrown Fundraising Event. The proceeds from this auction and event go to support Critical Mass’ programming, which includes the Creative Stimulus Award program.
